D.S. & Durga Jazmín Yucatán

Launched in 2020 by perfumer David Seth Moltz of D.S. & Durga.

Inspired by the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico: the dense jungle, humid air, cenotes (natural sinkholes), ancient Mayan ruins, and the feeling of stepping from bright coasts into shaded temples and lush undergrowth.

Top Notes

• Water notes (a watery/dewy fresh accent)

• Passion flower (adds tropical, slightly creamy-floral, a juicy nuance)
• Bergamot (citrus brightness to lift the opening)  
• Middle (Heart) Notes
• Jasmine Yucateco & Jasmine Sambac: lush white florals, somewhat indolic and very tropical, strong character of jasmine here.
• Clove: a spicy touch that warms and slightly adds depth/contrast to the florals.

• Base Notes

  • Snake plant: green, sharp, or vegetal green texture.

  • Vetiver: earthiness, dry greens, some smoky-wood or rooty tones.
  • Copal resin: adds incense-like, resinous, slightly smoky, maybe spiritual / ritual feel.
